五、仔兔的飼養管理

從出生到斷奶的仔兔，其特點是機體發育不完全而生長迅速，調節機能差，適應性弱，抵抗力小。依其生長發育特點，飼養管理分兩個階段，即睡眠期和開眼期。睡眠期的仔兔除采取有效手段讓小兔吃足乳外，要做好防寒保暖、驅蚊、滅鼠、防病、防窒息等工作，同時搞好箱內外清潔衛生。開眼期的飼養是補料和斷奶。喂給少量營養豐富、易消化、適口性好的飼料，并拌入少量礦物質和素，日喂料5～6次，少量多餐，逐步增加，直到斷乳。管理的是仔兔15日齡時將母仔分籠，每隔12小時哺乳一次。常換墊草，并洗凈或更換巢箱。每次食后，由母兔帶到運動場適當運動。定期檢查健康情況。
